One of my favorite feed aggregators, Taptu, shut down for unknown reasons at the end of March 2015. After scouring the web for an alternative, I came to the conclusion that there was nothing out there that could compare, both from an interface standpoint and from a feature set. Since I couldn't find anything, I decided to just build my own.
Before Taptu I briefly used Pulse, until it was bought by LinkedIn, and it has since shut down too. Feedmesh takes the best of both: every site you follow gets its own row, newest first, with nothing deciding for you what you see.
Feedmesh started as a website in 2015, and the first app followed in February 2016. It has been reading feeds every day since: today it's the website and an Android app, with an iPhone app on its way. Feeds are read around the clock, articles open as clean full text, and what you follow, save and read stays the same on the website and in the apps.
